When Bawumia Becomes President, We Will Sack Mahama’s CJ- Bosome Freho MP
If President John Mahama would still not budge and proceed to remove the current Chief Justice from office, then his nominee would be forcefully removed when the New Patriotic Party returns to power, the Member of Parliament for Bosome Freho, has hinted.
Hon. Asafo-Adjei Ayeh warned that should the New Patriotic Party (NPP) win the next elections, not even a word from their flagbearer, Dr. Bawumia, would stop them from removing any Chief Justice appointed by Mr. Mahama.
“If Bawumia becomes President and decides to call for peace and national cohesion in Ghana, it won’t stop us from storming the judiciary and drive out the Chief Justice”, he warned.
He stated on Movement TV that the precedent being set by President Mahama is costly and may affect whoever he decides to appoint as Chief Justice at the Supreme Court.
“We have been talking but if Mahama decides to ignore our advice and proceed with his intent, he should remember that what he has broguth to Ghana is that any Chief Justice appointed in Ghana has become like a minster. So as soon as you see that your party has lost an election, just park your belongings and move out”.
