‘What Can He Do In Four Years?’- Chairman Wontumi Questions Mahama’s Intentions

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako, Chairman Wontumi, has questioned the intention of former President John Mahama, who is seeking a comeback, given his previous assertion that no government can develop a country in just four years.

Addressing a townhall meeting in the UK, where he made a strong statement regarding the upcoming elections, Chairman Wontumi rhetorically referenced Mahama’s previous statement that no government could develop a country in just four years.

He then questioned the logic of Mahama’s decision to run for president again, given his own belief that four years is insufficient to achieve meaningful development.

Chairman Wontumi implied that Mahama’s intention was not to develop the country but to squander resources.

He contrasted this with Dr. Bawumia’s potential tenure, highlighting that he would have the opportunity to rule for eight years, allowing for more comprehensive development.
