Unnecessary pressure being generated by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the government of President Akufo-Addo to take hasty decisions would be treated as rubbish the Ahafo regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has warned.
Chairman Kwabena Owusu Sekyere in an interview on Wontumi TV strongly warned that calls on the government of President Akufo-Addo to release the list of MMDCEs he plans to work with in his second term, would not be tolerated since the President is being prudent in the steps his is taking.
“They should stop giving the NPP pressure. Their manifesto is different from that of the NPP. We have different ways of doing our things. They (NDC) can use $280 million to build one interchange, we (NPP) will use the same amount to build 3 interchanges”, he said to show how tactful the NPP government is when it comes to managing the economy of Ghana.
Chairman Kwabena Owusu Sekyere reminded members of the NPP that they have an agenda as a party to “break the 8” and called on them not to get carried away by the unnecessary pressure of the NDC.
