We’re Famous for Nothing in Ghana – Shatta Wale Admits Most Celebs Are Broke and Fake their ‘Rich’ Lives

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr is a well known Ghanaian dancehall musician who goes by the showbiz name Shatta Wale.

Shatta Wale is one of the biggest entertainers in Ghana in terms of following and music catalog. His fans, the Shatta Movement Family have pledged an allegiance to the musician that is tough to break.

One will think Shatta Wale is the richest musician in the country if you follow his gimmicks on social media but the dancehall star has come out to rubbish that mindset.

Shatta Wale has taken to twitter to lament that being famous in Ghana is the nicest feeling to have but the fame does not come with enough money to make a living.

The statement coming from Shatta Wale sorts of confirm trending news that most celebrities, especially in Ghana, mismanage their wealth in their youthful days and cry of hunger when they grow weak.

He tweeted, ‘fame in Ghana is nice but the money is small.’

A typical example is veteran actor Psalm Adjetefio aka T.T who has become a laughing stock in society due to his excessive begging behavior.

T.T was by far the most famous actor in the early 90s because of his television series Taxi Driver but the actor could not save a penny in his youth and has resorted to begging for leftovers to survive.
