The services of Chairman Wontumi is needed in the New Patriotic Party’s attempt to break the 8, the Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben South has said.
Hon. Ike Apau-Gyasi stated on Wontumi TV that if the NPP is serious about maintaining political power, then everything must be done to ensure that Chairman Wontumi is retained as Ashanti regional Chairman.

“If the New Patriotic Party is serious about maintaining political power after 2024, this is the time the party needs the caliber of Chairman Wontumi in Ashanti region”, he said.
In his view, the time has come for the NPP to cross and break the 8 year political cycle and added that it can be done with no other person in Ashanti region but with Chairman Antwi-Boasiako.
