Mr. David Boakye, the Bono East Regional Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has proposed that there is an urgent need to scrub Mr. John Mahama’s head with a sandpaper to make him think deeply before commenting in public.
His comment comes on the back of an allegation by the 2020 flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that soldiers were used to force the Electoral Commission (EC) to announce the 2020 election in the NPP’s favor.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline, the NPP Secretary explained that it was difficult to speak against past flagbearers of the NDC but with John Mahama picking the position, he has wiped away the respect attached to the position.
“When other leaders of NDC spoke, they spoke wisely but with Mahama everything he says, you have to use sandpaper to polish it”, he said.
