The deputy public Relations officer for the Ministry of Education, Mr. Yaw Opoku Mensah has spoken about the recent pictures that flooded the internet regarding the special uniforms for Ghanaian teachers.
Speaking on the Movement TV morning show with Nana Oheneba Asiedu, he revealed that, the Ministry of Education has not introduced any uniform for teachers.
“The images on social media are pictures of some teachers at Akwasiase school during an event that was organized by the school, and not an attire approved by the Ministry of Education”. he said
He urged social media users and bloggers to desist from spreading false news and has requested that an apology must be rendered to the Ministry.
