If Ghanaians were to measure and reward John Mahama for his services as vice President, he wouldn’t have had the opportunity to be President, David Boakye has said.
The Bono East regional Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stated on the Wontumi Morning Show that as vice, Mr. Mahama was never trusted by his boss- the late former President John Evans Atta Mills.
“…but with Mahama his own boss set up a committee to investigate him because he was disgracing him a lot”, Mr. Boakye said on the show monitored by Wontumionline.com.
He continued that vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has demonstrated with integrity the respect he attaches to the office he holds unlike former President John Mahama who once served in the same capacity.
Bawumia according to Mr. Boakye hasn’t faced troubles facing committees under President Akufo-Addo like John Mahama did under the late former President Mills.
