The President of the Republic of Ghana, President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, has revealed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) inherited a derailed Mahama International Monitory Fund (IMF) administration.
He made this exposition during his speech at the 2022 National Annual Delegates Conference which took place at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In his speech, he said “we came to office under a derailed Mahama IMF program. They misused the 1bn IMF support for their personal benefit. The Akufo-Addo administration has a track record of building Ghana’s economy and we shall continue to pursue it with innovative programs’’.
Adding to it President Akufo-Addo said the NPP shall continue with the journey of reviving the economy for the betterment of livelihood of Ghanaians.
