We Are Ready To Face Germany – Otto Addo Declares

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has expressed confidence that his team will deliver a stronger performance when they face Germany in their final friendly of the March international window.

Ghana are set to take on the European giants in Stuttgart on Monday at 18:45 GMT, following their earlier encounter against Austria, where they suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat in Vienna. The result has sparked renewed scrutiny over the team’s preparedness for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Despite the setback, Addo insists the squad has taken lessons from that performance and is ready to respond with greater resilience.

“We’ve had a lot of things to analyze after the last game, which was a big, big woe for us,” he told the media ahead of Monday’s encounter.

“We had a lot of things to talk through, analyze through and even though we face a stronger opponent, I am optimistic that we can handle the situation.”

He added that preparations are complete and the focus is now on delivering a better display.

“We are ready; this is our last training, and we will try to prepare the last things and look forward for tomorrow,” he added.
