We Are Determined To Come Out Of The Hardship- Akufo- Addo
The President of the Republic, Akufo- Addo says despite the ravages the COVID-19 has caused his government, it is not ready to throw its hands in despair.
Akufo- Addo admitted that his government is aware of the situation and the difficulties Ghanaians are going through.
Delivering his speech at the NPP National Delegates Conference held in Kumasi on Sunday, he indicated that, should his government follow the Obataanpa program, “we will come out of the situation and bring greater prosperity and progress to the country.”
According to Akufo-Addo, his government has spent more money to improving the circumstances of Ghanaians than any government in the 4th Republic.
“No government in the 4th Republic can match our record on expenditures on socio-economic transformation,” he said.
According to the President, the NPP thought about the programs they have introduced in opposition so they were ready to roll them when they came into power.
“John Mahama and his NDC should name just one policy they have thought of in their five years in opposition. They have thought about zero,” Akufo- Addo charged.
