Wa: Body Of Suspected Kidnapped Security Guard Found In Shallow Grave

A dead body suspected to be that of security guard who was attacked and kidnapped at a carpentry shop along the Wa Technical Institute road on September 15 has been discovered in a shallow grave around the Napogbakole residential area behind the blue hill hotel area.

The 49-year-old man is believed to hail from Kpongu, a suburb of Wa.

The said body has since been exhumed by officials from the Ghana Police Service for further investigations in line with procedures aimed at identifying the perpetrators.

This is the 5th person to have died out of 9 kidnapping cases in the Wa Municipality.

Police patrols have since been beefed up.
