Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has asserted that Ghana’s biggest mistake was voting out the NPP in 2008, citing “political retrogression” as the primary consequence.
According to Chairman Wontumi, the frequent changes in government have resulted in significant project delays, hindering Ghana’s progress.
“Whenever there is a change of government, the new government stalls all ongoing projects for about two years to inspect all previous documents before deciding whether to continue or not,” he explained.
Chairman Wontumi emphasized that this phenomenon affects various sectors, including education and infrastructure development.
“Once we vote NDC and Mahama into power, all educational projects and the ongoing road projects will be stalled,” he noted.
He urged Ghanaians to consider the long-term implications of their voting decisions, emphasizing the importance of continuity in governance.
