Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, has called on the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to consider making Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia their 2024 flagbearer with Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, his running mate.
The renowned lawyer stated on Wontumi TV’s Mmra Ni Abrabo Mu Nsem show that the combination would appeal to voters more than any other ticket in 2024.
According to him, partnering Vice President Bawumia with the Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremanten would not sell like a Bawumia-Kennedy ticket.
“Vote for Bawumia and make Kennedy Agyapong his running mate. That ticket would sell better than Bawumia and Alan”, Lawyer Ampaw said.
In his view, Hon. Alan Kyeremanten has always been a political “gentleman” and never attacked the NDC before so going for him won’t help the fortunes of the NPP.
“But when NDC hear Bawumia’s name they get BP and suffer depression. They get into the element of confusion”, he said.
