After five years of existence GOtv, a paid TV terrestrial service in Africa owned by multi-choice have been re-launched.
The launch was performed at the Kejetia Market on Thursday, 09/06/2022 amidst entertainment.
Speaking exclusively to Nana Owusu Achiaw, the Director of Multichoice, Alex Okyere said GOtv has introduced many contents after five years.
Alex Okyere said a new channel, Akwaaba Magic Abusua has been opened to telecast Kumawood contents.
He said the Akwaaba Magic Abusua channel will offer job opportunities to the Kumawood players.
Alex Okyere revealed that the major challenge of the GOtv is free to air channel and that has enthused most of the subscribers.
He expressed the hope that the introduction of the Akwaaba Magic Abusua channel will combat the challenge.

For his part, the channel head for Akwaaba Magic Abusua, Kennedy Denkyi Appah said the channel has been introduced for Ghanaians worldwide to get the chance to watch Kumawood content.
Denkyi Appah affirmed that the contents will be local movies, music, series and telenovela.
He said that the channel will be a game-changer for the Kumawood players.
He said the monthly subscription goes for cool as Ghc15.
Denkyi Appah said the Akwaaba Magic is on channel 108 on the GOtv.
