(VIDEO) Office Of The Women’s Commissioner, TESCON-KNUST Donates To TECH Hospital

 

The office of the Women’s Commissioner, TESCON-KNUST  have donated detergent to TECH Hospital to mark International Women’s Day.

They used the occasion to pray for the patients after the donation.

Chief Nursing Officer, Akosua Frimpong in an interview with Nana Owusu Achiaw commended the TESCON ladies for the kind gesture.

She said the detergents will assist them in their work.

The TESCON KNUST Women Commissioner, Saeedah Aboubakare Nonni said they want the patients to feel some sense of belongingness hence the donation.

She, however, urged the public to shun the bad perception they have about women.

Saeedah Aboubakare Nonni indicated that education has bridged the gap between women and men saying what men can do they can also do better.

For his part, the TESCON KNUST Organizer, James Amaniampong advised women to shun the perception that politics is for only men.

He, however, made a passionate appeal to the NPP Executives to come to their aid.

“If the NPP executives come to our aid, it will encourage us to do exploits for the party to break the eight.”

“The donation forms part of breaking the eight. If we do this, it will attract people to join the party,” deputy Women Commissioner, Rabbiatu Seidu said.

She stressed that without the youth NPP will not be NPP.

Another deputy Women Commissioner for the TESCON KNUST ladies, Jessica Mohl admonished women to be bold to engage in politics.

She urged men to support women to build a great nation together.
