The Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, has slammed Esther Nana Agyemang for trying to sow seeds of discord in the party ahead of electing a flagbearer who would takeover from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the future.
In describing Esther Nana Agyemang as a wannabe member of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe also known as Abronye stated that she is an “ugly woman who can’t attract men” and it would be better for her to stop talking about the NPP.
Last Friday, former President John Agyekum Kufuor and his brother, Dr. Kwame Addo-Kufuor called into a live radio programme and exposed Esther Nana Agyemang for lying about them.
The show which was hosted by Adakabre Frempong Manso had Esther Nana Agyemang make spurious claims about the former President and his junior brother and also featured an attack on Vice President Dr. Bawumia and Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu.
The ex-President said he felt maligned by the false claims of the lady, after she claimed she was speaking on authority that Mr. Kufuor only appointed his brother, Dr. Kwame Addo-Kufuor as Minister of Defense with the view to tame his predecessor, John Jerry Rawlings, and not on competence.
The lady also claimed that Dr. Addo-Kufuor’s appointment by then President Kufuor was to reconcile the NPP after the 2000 general election since his brother did not support his bid for the presidency.
And according to Abronye who spoke on Wontumi TV’s Nsempa Fie show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Esther Nana Agyemang is part of a group that wants to start a war against President Akufo-Addo by spewing lies about him and the person to take over from him.
“You have every right to support your preferred candidate. But you must not make it difficult for the party to market the one who wins the contest. Those people who are trying to use their choice of candidate to insult President Akufo-Addo should be careful.
In 2024, we would be using the projects of Kufour and Akufo-Addo to project the candidate we elect. The candidate you support would need everyone on board and you dont have to offend anybody“, Abronye advised.
