VIDEO: You Have No Power To Block The Approval Of Any Deputy Minister...Tell Your Supporters Before They Insult You- NDC MPs Advised

The New Patriotic Party’s Constituency Youth Organizer for Ejisu, Henry K. Duah, is calling on the leadership of the National Democratic Congress in Parliament to hurriedly inform their supporters that they have no power to block the approval of any deputy minister who would be appearing before them during vetting before they insult them like they recently did.

In an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the NPP Youth Organizer stated that it would be disgraceful on the part of the NDC MPs to hide the truth from their supporters and approach the vetting like they have the power to stop the process.

Don’t go and lie to your members about the deputy ministers…they (NDC MPs) have no power to block the deputy minister because they think they have said something against John Mahama“, Henry K. Duah said.

He also took a direct swipe at the national officers of the NDC and explained that they were to blamed for the disrespect that greeted the Speaker of Parliament and the leadership of the minority caucus in Parliament.

It would be recalled that during the NDC National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi accused the party’s leadership in Parliament as well as the Speaker, Alban Bagbin of betraying the party.

His accusation comes after the NDC MPs on Parliament’s Appointments Committee approved Defence Minister-designate, Dominic Nitiwul and later approved three other rejected Ministers-designate when they were brought before the House.

These nominees are Information Minister-designate, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Food and Agriculture Minister-designate, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and Minister-designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Hawa Koomson who were previously rejected by the Minority MPs on the Appointments Committee.
