The Ministry for Food and Agriculture says the response to introducing the pilot Planting for Food and Jobs(PFJ) market has been very massive.
According to the Ministry, it’s near to achieving its target for introducing the exercise.
The Press Secretary to the sector Minister, Issah Alhassan made this known on the Thursday edition of Wontumi TV Morning Show.
Issah Alhssan hinted that the piloting PFJ market may be extended to other Regions in the weeks ahead and continue till Christmas.
He said the Ministry wants Ghanaians to use foodstuffs as Christmas hampers instead of imported things as it is done annually.
