Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, aka Wontumi, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) has asked those calling on Akufo-Addo to conduct a reshuffle of the government appointees to leave it for the President.
Chairman Wontumi said when the time is due, the President will conduct the reshuffle.
Appearing on the Tuesday edition of Wontumi TV Morning Show, he fumed that God speaks with a leader like Akufo-Addo and not the opposition NDC.
Akufo-Addo in an interview with a Tamale-based FM stated that persons may have ulterior motives for calling for a reshuffle of government appointees under his administration.
According to him, persons calling for the reshuffle may be persons looking for job opportunities and also some NDC members whose actions may be aimed at undermining government.
Chairman Wontumi said Ghanaians should pray for Akufo-Addo over the statement.
He said Asanteman needs developmental projects like the Boankra Inland Port, jobs, roads and interchanges but not reshuffle.
He noted that Ofosu-Ampofo and Sammy Gyamfi in an alleged tape said that they will make the country ungovernable for Akufo-Addo.
