The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, is calling on lawyers representing President Akufo-Addo in court to press perjury charges against the General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress, for changing his narrative in court.
Speaking on the Nsempa Fie show on Wontumi TV, the NPP Chairman popularly known as Abronye stated that as witness, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia is committing a criminal offense in court by telling a story which is different from the serious allegations he has made against the Electoral Commission.
Abronye added that the lead counsel for the Electoral Commisison sensed this and tried in court to prove in court that what Mr. Asiedu Nketia keeps recounting as witness, is different from the exhibit he provided to the court.
According to him the NDC scribe popularly known as General Mosquito said in his statement that the “NPP stole the 2020 elections and brought an exhibit and swore and oath. He made it clear that he will speak based on his statement but in the witness box, he changed his statements.”
Abronye continued that General Mosquito later claimed that they (NDC) were not in court to challenge elections but rather to prove that the elections results as declared by the EC was flawed.
He maintains that the NDC scribes deserves to be charged with perjury because keeps changing his statements.
