The Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Stephen Amoah has stated that the New Patriotic Party is saddled with competent members to an extent that it create problems when it comes to selecting people to occupy various leadership positions.
His comments came on the back of the nominations of deputy ministers by President Akufo-Addo to serve in his second term.
According to Stephen Amoah popularly known as Sticka, every name presented by the President qualifies to be there due to their ability to perform the task ahead.
“One thing about the NPP is that we have a lot of good materials in the party. In terms of competence, we have an issue because we have the numbers and everyone is competent“, he said.

He cautioned the new deputy ministers to serve with a spirit of patriotism and also called on Ghanaians to support the new leaders.
He advised the new deputy ministers to bear in mind that their actions can “elevate the name of the President. They shouldn’t go and antagonize others.”
The Nhyiaeso MP continued that it would be based on the performance of the deputy ministers that Ghanaians would determine whether to all the NPP stay in power after 2024.
