VIDEO: NPP Communication Team Member Appeals To COCOBOD To Increase Number Of Weeding Gang

A Communication Team Member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Albert Boakye Forkuo has appealed passionately to the COCOBOD to reconsider employing more youth into its Cocoa Rehabilitation Programme.

According to him, about 6,000 youth in the Ahafo Region involved in the programme have been taken off with a reminder of 1,000.

Speaking on the Friday Edition of “Ammamuo Mu Nsem” on Wontumi TV, Albert Boakye Forkuo appealed to authorities of COCOBOD to increase the number to at least 2,000 or more.

“The Cocoa Rehabilitation Programme started with a whopping number of 7,000 weeding gangs but was slashed to just 1,000,” he told Nana Abu-prah host of the show.
