Moments after the Black Stars of Ghana humiliated the Super Eagles of Nigeria, scores of Nigerian fans stormed the pitch to cause havoc.
In the melee, the Black Stars players sought for safety in the Nigerian stadium.
Perhaps, the Nigerian supporters were not happy with the humiliated margin hence the vandalism.
The Black Stars in a return encounter, massacred the home team to a 1-1 drawn game.
This margin has qualified the Black Stars a ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
