(VIDEO) Kennedy Agyapong, MCE For Assin Central Break Ground For Dompim Astro Turf Construction
The Municipal Chief Executive for Assin Central, Hon. Nicholas Kofi Baako on Saturday 15/01/2022 broke the ground to pave way for the construction of a modern park for the Dompim community and its surrounding towns in the Assin Fosu area of the Central Region.
He was joined by the MP for the area, Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and the Chief and elders who expressed joy for the project.
The Dompim Astro Turf project is being financed by Ghana Gas and Best Limited as the Contractor.
Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who is also the Board Chairman of Ghana Gas, gave the land freely for the commencement of the facility.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong praised the extent of sports infrastructure development the Akufo-Addo led government has done at the national and regional levels
He appealed to the Chiefs to give the Contractor the best of support he needs and described as worrisome situations where folks sit on the fence when good projects are being executed.

For his part, the Project Engineer of Best Limited, Alex Anim Boateng assured the people that the project shall be ready by 6 months time when he explained the scope of the project.
