The Bono regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, has taken a swipe at the 2020 defeated flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Mahama, describing him as someone who addressed his party supporters under the influence of ‘akpeteshie’.
Speaking on his show which airs on Wontumi TV, the maverick politician stated that after losing the 2020 Presidential elections, Mr. John Mahama organized an alcohol party for himself and his executives and chose to address his supporters when he had become intoxicated.
Playing back an old video of Mr. Mahama addressing the media and claiming that he had won the elections, Kwame Baffoe also known as Abronye stated that “is that a victory photo? if you look at the press conference they held it looked like they were taking alcohol and as soon as they got drunk, he came to address his supporters.”
Abronye cautioned NDC supporters not to fall for the false claims by their 2020 flagbearer that he had won the elections.
“It should be a lesson for the NDC foot soldiers, it never true that John Mahama won the elections and that the will of the people have been suppressed. He didn’t even state rigging of the elections that in the petition he sent to the Supreme Court”, Abronye said.
