There would be reprisal attacks if members of the National Democratic Congress would not put a stop to burning of markets, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has warned.
The NPP Chairman in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show strongly warned members of the NDC behind the torcher plots that “if they start burning markets again, we will visit their homes. We know where the NDC executives stay.”
He further called on traders at the various market places to work with the plan of identifying the homes of all NDC members and demanding answers from them anytime a market gets burnt.
“If they burn markets in Ashanti region again, we will attack the NDC members now. We will identify where the NDC members stay and go after them if they will continue to burn markets” he warned.
He ended by calling on Gbevlo Lartey and former President John Mahama to put an end their “pettiness and stupidity” that is spurring NDC members burn markets.

It would be recalled that an alleged audio recording of the voice of NDC National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo planning a road-map of criminal activities targeted at some individuals has been admitted as evidence in court.
The targeted individuals include the Electoral Commission (EC) chair and the Chairman of the National Peace Council and burning of markets.
