(VIDEO) GUTA Lauds Akufo- Addo For Reopening Borders
Ghana Union of Traders’ Association( GUTA) has heaped praises on President Akufo- Addo for reopening the land and sea borders.
GUTA described the announcement as ‘welcoming news’.
Akufo-Addo in his 28th COVID-19 National address on Sunday, March 28, announced the reopening of Ghana’s land and sea borders two years after closure.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Tuesday, the Vice-Chairman of GUTA, Clement Boateng said the traders have anticipated the reopening for a longer period.
Clement Boateng told Oheneba Nana Asiedu that it was in the right direction Akufo- Addo closed the borders as part of efforts to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
