(VIDEO) Gov’t Will Not Use E- Levy To ‘Eat’ Buttocks – Atubiga
Founder and Leader of National Liberation Congress (NLC), Stephen Atubiga has stated emphatically that the government will make judicious use of the Electronic Transaction Levy (E-levy).
According to Stephen Atubiga, the government will not use the E-levy to ‘eat’ buttocks.
The former NDC member was speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Friday.
“If you collect tax and you use the tax to eat buttocks it becomes a problem,” he told Oheneba Nana Asiedu.
Stephen Atubiga said that he supports anything relating to tax.
He indicated that the blunder the government committed was the late education of the E-levy to the public.
The NLC Founder stressed that the e-levy is not huge money as some people have exaggerated.
He said he is happy Parliament has passed it into law.
