(VIDEO) Government Pumps Over Ghc8 Billion Into TVET Education- Dep. Director General
The government has directly invested over Ghc8 billion into the Technical – Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Deputy Director-General Commission for TVET, Engineer Peter Antwi Boasiako has disclosed.
“This investment is unprecedented,” he noted.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he indicated that it takes a visionary leader to invest in TVET education.
He stressed that it is the most expensive educational training among other educational trainings.
Enumerating the benefits of the TVET, he said it helps a company to establish a business in a country.
Engineer Peter Antwi Boasiako added that it creates jobs for the youth.
He hinted that the government aims to position Ghana as a TVET hub in the sub-region.
