A political analyst and sympathizer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II, has lashed out at Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata warning him to get serious as legal practitioner.
His warning comes on the heels of a request by Lawyer Tsikata for Justice Clemence Jackson Honyenuga to recuse himself from hearing legal arguments on an injunction case against John Peter Amewu.
Tsatsu Tsikata claims the long-standing friendship between the Energy Minister, John Peter Amewu and Supreme Court Judge, Justice Honyenuga is likely to influence the judgement of the case.
According to him, Mr Amewu has always touted his relationship with Justice Honyenuga and it is, therefore, only right for the judge to step down.
But Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II in commenting on the issue on the Wontumi Morning Show, noted that Justice Honyenuga has also revealed he eats from the home of Tsatsu Tsikata so it is also fair for him (Tsikata) to also rescue himself from the case.
He advised Mr. Tsikata to get “serious” as a lawyer and stop living in faded glory when it comes to the practice.
In a direct response to Mr. Tsikata, Nana Kokobeng stated that “those antics of his are past. We are more serious than he thinks. What is he saying and what can he do? He has already lost and if he wants everyone out, then he should also get out.”
