As Ghanaians tearfully mourn the King of Highlife, Nana Kwame Ampadu who died on Tuesday, 28th September, 2021 following a short illness, we bring to you his last words to Ghanaians.

Nana Kwame Ampadu was a composer, guitarist and singer who was known for his brilliant storytelling skills through highlife music.

Nana Kwame Ampadu before his demise told Hammer Nti on Hammer Time on Pure FM that Ghanaians should not wait for him to die before they celebrate him.

These words have touched many Ghanaians with some saying the legend highlife musician knew his time was probably near.
