The flagbearer of the Nation Democratic Congress, Mr. John Dramani Mahama has been forewarned not to try mimicking Donald Trump but brace himself to call Nana Akufo-Addo to congratulate as President after the 7th December polls.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show noted that Mr. Mahama should not hide behind any mischievous act when it comes to calling President Akufo-Addo to congratulate him.
The NPP Chairman also known as Chairman Wontumi warned the NDC flagbearer not to repeat Donald Trump’s antics when it comes to losing the elections.
According to him “on the 8th of December, is either Akua Donkor or Akpaloo would be the first to call President Akufo-Addo and congratulate him. It would be followed by a call from the flagbearer of GCPP.”
He continued that “CPP would do same followed by the PPP. Mrs. Rawlings would also call. Everyone would do that even Ayariga would.”
When it comes to Mr. John Mahama, Chairman Wontumi insists he would be left red-faced but would be left with no option than to call and congratulate President Akufo-Addo.
“He will mimic the antics of Donald Trump but out of shame, he would congratulate the President between on the 10th and 11th December, 2020. This is exactly what would happen”, the NPP Chairman predicted.
