It is becoming clearer that the opulent lifestyle of Sammy Gyamfi is being sponsored by some members of the New Patriotic Party including some ministers of state and Members of Parliament.
Lawyer George Oppong, a member of the New Patriotic Party and a presiding member at Kwabre East, has opened up about how he first received but ignored information about how some current ministers of state were sponsoring Sammy Gyamfi.
According to lawyer George Oppong, a key member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) informed him about the expensive mansion Sammy Gyamfi had bought at Airport Hills through the sponsorship of some ministers and MPs serving in President Akufo-Addo’s government but rubbished the info until lawyer George Opare Addo stoked the flames recently by exposing Sammy Gyamfi over the expensive properties he controls.
During a studio discussion on Wontumi TV, lawyer George Oppong revealed that his friend in the NDC asked him to weigh the work Sammy Gyamfi does and see whether it matches the wages he used to acquire a mansion at Airport Hills.
“He asked me to tell him the work Sammy Gyamfi does for him be able to afford a house at Airport Hills. He drove me to the house and informed me about the NPP members sponsoring him”, lawyer George Oppong said.
The National Youth Organizer for the opposition NDC, George Opare Addo has publicly questioned Sammy Gyamfi on where his income comes from.
“As for this election, it was that Airport Hills small boy I contested not Brogya, I said today I will mention names… I contested Sammy Gyamfi and I won. He is a small boy. There is nothing he can match me on, I have lived life well. He is a small boy.” Pablo said.
Adding to this, lawyer George Oppong stated that the message by George Opare Addo helped him to connect the dots and realize that what his friend in the NDC had previously told him about some current ministers of state and MPs sponsoring Sammy Gyamfi were all true.
He sadly stated that despite the works some NPP members put in to ensure NPP is in power, it hasn’t yet dawned on the ministers and MPs sponsoring Sammy Gyamfi to come to their aide.
“We sacrificed for the NPP but there is no senior person in the party ready to call us and offer us financial support…They are rather buying brand new cars for our opponents”, he lamented.
