Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II, has advised Ghanaians to strictly observe the COVID-19 protocols to avoid another lockdown or closure of schools.

According to him, the only antidote that will not let the country go on another lockdown is by adhering to the advise of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

In an interview on Wontumi Radio/TV, Nana Oteatuoso said that, if Ghanaians become adamant, the possibility of going on a lockdown will be higher.

He told Oheneba Nana Asiedu that, he disagrees with a section of people calling on the government to shut down schools again amidst the increasing cases of the disease.

The Akwanserehene of Akyem Kwabeng said that, “we can embark on the 3Ts, thus Tracing, Testing and Treating in the schools if any student tests positive.”

Nana Oteatuoso opined that, the students are now picking up after staying home for couple of months and that should there be another closure it will pose plight to them and the teachers.
