Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has made a passionate appeal to the faith-based religious organisations to say a word of prayer for the looming China and Taiwan brawl to cease.
Chairman Wontumi said, what the future holds is very dangerous should the faith-based religious organisations fail to pray against the tension.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Tuesday, he said “if they don’t pray for it to stop, from now to December things will be very hard.”
Chairman Wontumi noted that many Ghanaians import commodities from China and Taiwan for business.
He recalled that he predicted what the Russia-Ukraine war will impose during the initial stages but it was overlooked.
“Let’s pray we don’t experience another Russia-Ukraine war else the hardship will increase.”
