The Bono East Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), David Boakye has strongly defended why Chairman Wontumi must be retained as the Ashanti Regional Chairman.
According to him Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi has what it takes to be retained.
Speaking on the Monday Edition of “The Privilege Morning Show” with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV sadly emphasized that, ‘we don’t value what we have’.
He explained that Chairman Wontumi its a valuable experienced politician and he must be given that undiluted respect.
“Sometimes it’s dangerous to hear people talking too much that Chairman Wontumi has kept long and he must leave the scene.This is very dangerous in politics.”
David Boakye revealed on the Show that Chairman Wontumi supported the Bono East Region with 200K during the 2020 limited voter registration exercise .
