(VIDEO): C/R: Fire Service Officer Dies In An Attempt To Save Drowning Victims
A Fire Service Officer, Assistant Station Officer (ASO) Mr. Joseph Baidoo has allegedly died in an attempt to save 3 persons from drowning at Gomoa Obuasi in the Central Region.
Reports from our Central Regional Correspondent, Samuel Eshun indicates that the Fire Officer who is 35 years old tried reaching the three persons who had fallen into a well.
Samuel Eshun told Wontumionline.com that the three drowned persons have all been rescued and are now receiving treatment at the Agona Swedru Municipal Hospital.
The rescued include 32-year-old Dauda, the Landlord.
Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive for the area, Hon. Benjamin Kojo Otoo has expressed his condolence to the bereaved family.
