Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei- Mensah has flatly rubbished maxims that the government appointees in the Region have neglected the Region.
According to Hon Osei Mensah, the appointees including the Chief of Staff, Hon. Fremah Opare are incredibly pushing for Ashanti Region to get a massive facelift.
But talking to Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he lamented that inadequate funds have impeded the projects.
He said the Region has developed massively in terms of road construction.
Hon. Osei- Mensah further bemoaned that a section of the residents have forgotten the state of the Region before Akufo- Addo assumed power.
