President Akufo-Addo will run a lean government in his next government, the Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem Central, Hon. Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi, has said.
In an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, the NPP legislator stated that he is hopeful President Akufo-Addo will slash the number of his ministers to a number that would be smaller than the one his used during his first tenure.
He also advised Members of Parliament aligned to the NPP to do away with the mindset of being legislators so that they would be elevated to serve as Ministers of State.
“All the people who enter parliament have the mindset of becoming ministers…We might run a lean government going forward”, he said.
