Until the defeated flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. John Mahama, picks his phone and call President Akufo-Addo to concede defeat, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has vowed to add “vampire” to his official name.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, in an interview with Wontumionline.com addressed the issue of Mr. John Mahama not respecting the verdict of the Supreme Court after he had presented a petition to them to look into the 2020 Presidential election.

John Mahama is acting like a vampire. He wants blood to suck so he isn’t standing in a position to preach about peace. The way he has acted after the verdict clearly shows that he wants violence to take over. Ghanaians have matured and moved past that his vampire way of thinking”, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi said.

According to the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, Mr. Mahama has to “politically mature” and show respect the judges who sat on the case and above all call President Akufo-Addo and congratulate him for victory.

On Thursday, a seven-member panel of Supreme Court Judges in a unanimous decision dismissed the election petition filed by Mr Mahama.

This according to the apex court is because the case had no merit.

Meanwhile, John Dramani Mahama has expressed hisdisappointment in the Supreme Court’s unanimous decision to dismiss his election petition.

Reacting to the ruling, the former President intimated that, his defeat came as no surprise as the apex court had denied many of the applications filed by his legal team.

“Much as I am aware that we are legally bound by the decision of the highest Court of the land, the Supreme Court of Ghana, I disagree with the process of the trial and the ruling of the court,” he stated at his office in Cantonments, Accra.
