New Juabeng North constituency Parliamentary hopeful, Philip Twum Yeboah, has cautioned people occupying higher positions under the current ruling government (NPP), to serve humanity and not take advantage of it.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning show, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Mr Yeboah expressed his disappointments and dissatisfaction at the rate at which people occupying higher ranks in the NPP government are taking advantage of their positions at the expense of helping humanity.
He noted that they should consider it an advice, as they can be at the mercy of people if they fail to serve to meet expectations when the party is out of office.
he stated that ”in politics any position you get is called position of privilege, because it is not due of your beauty or intelligence but rather an opportunity, and I want to add to what my brother said that some of us are not after positions like MP although we’ve helped people a lot but we do not put out out there.
Some people find themselves where they are because of us, so I always tell them that if you’re not careful and you lose power unlike some of us who have something doing whether we are in power or not, one day you’ll be found wanting and come back to us and that is when it might be too late, so it is an advice especially to the young ones. If you have the opportunity to help humanity, you do it and if you cannot, don’t paint them black.”
