As we celebrate Easter the Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has entreated former President John Mahama to apologize to all free Senior High School students for saying the food they eat at school isn’t even fit for dogs.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi told Wontumionline.com in an interview that he is expecting Mr. John Mahama to render an apology to the free SHS students for insulting them.
“Today, if you go to see the kind of food the children are eating in the schools…you shudder to serve such food to your dogs at home,” Mr. Mahama is on record to have told delegates and his party members at the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency.
Chairman Wontumi hinted that the insults would drive a lot of students to vote against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 elections.
“You can’t tell the little ones that they eat dog food and expect all beneficiaries of the free SHS to vote for you. They will register their anger at you by voting against you in 2024. The NPP will continue to remind them that they deserve and apology everyday so the earlier Mahama comes out to say sorry, the better for him”, Chairman Wontumi advised.
