A Senior Lecturer with the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), Dr. Ishaq Kyei-Brobbey has commented on the future of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia establishing that the “nation, party and the spirit of Ghana is yearning” for to become President in 2024.
Speaking on Wontumi TV a Kumasi based media house, Dr. Kyei-Brobbey stated that he has followed the progress of Dr. Bawumia from the time he was nominated as running mate until President Akufo-Addo elevated him to be Vice President and can boldly state that he hasn’t been a flop.
“What did Nana Akufo-Addo see in him that he chose him (Bawumia) as running mate from 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020? It has never happened in this country before. He has been the most significant Vice President”, the KsTU Lecturer said.
He continued that Dr. Bawumia deserves to be called Ghana’s “Golden boy” because “there is a star on him”.
