Football fanatic Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen could not hide his emotions after watching the dramatic UCL Semi-final clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City Wednesday night.
Real Madrid fought back from the brink of elimination to beat Manchester City 3-1 after extra time and 6-5 on aggregate in an enthralling and dramatic Champions League semi-final.
City led 1-0 on Wednesday night and 5-3 on aggregate when Riyad Mahrez scored after 73 minutes, but Real substitute Rodrygo equalized in the last minute of normal time and headed home one minute later to level the tie at 5-5.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he said when it was left with eight minutes to strike full time, he saw Manchester City performing a miracle but he quickly gave it a second thought.
He said some matches like this make football the sweetest thing on earth.
He hinted that the encounter reminded him of the final of Manchester United coming from behind in the dying embers of the match to beat Bayern Munich to lift the Champions League trophy in 1999.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen said the final match between Real Madrid and Liverpool slated for 28th May 2022 will be mesmerizing.
He has tipped the Spanish giants to clinch the trophy for the 14th time.
