Two ‘Puffs’ of Ntampi And I Nearly Went Mad – I Started Calling Everyone I Know – Irene Logan Retells Horrible Experience

Ghanaian singer Irene Logan has narrated how she nearly went mad one time after taking just two puffs of marijuana.

She narrated her horrible experience with the drug during an appearance on Okay Fm.

She was talking about her experiences with drugs before she received a calling from God.

Once upon a time, Irene Logan was top of the food chain in Ghanaian music.

Having won the first edition of the sensational singing reality show ‘Stars of the Future’, she was destined for great things.

The hype around her became even bigger after she teamed up with the third-placed contestant from ‘Stars of the Future’, a certain Jane Awindor (the future Efya), to form the group ‘Irene and Jane’.

The two were predicted to reign forever but things did not pan out and they broke up a few years later to go solo, at which point Jane rebranded as Efya.

Irene hang around for a few years but could never match Efya’s talent and productivity.

Now she has revealed that during that time of her life, she became embroiled in a world of drugs that nearly destroyed her life.

Irene said she started smoking cigarettes at that time due to the circles she was running in.

Everyone she knew smoked so she also learned to smoke to fit in.

Irene said she became addicted to smoking cigarettes and it got so bad there was a time she smoked close to 2 packs a day.

But the impact of cigarettes on her life was small compared to what happened when she tried the devil’s hashish (weed).

According to Irene, she once took two puffs of weed during an outing and it nearly sent her mad.

She said the sensation was so strong she took her phone and called her pastor and everyone she knew due to how she was feeling.

Irene said after that she started changing her lifestyle till the point she received a calling from God.
