Two African Footballers Die From Lightning and Stabbing

The Lesotho Football Association has announced the death and shock and sadness of the passing away of two football players.

One of the players in Relebohile Hlaele of Dion FC, lost his life after he was struck by lightning while playing for his team in a Christmas tournament held in Machache.

The other player is the former National U-17 and U-20 goalkeeper-Rethabile Marake, who was reported to have been stabbed to death on Christmas day.

The Lesotho Football Association commiserate with the two families, their clubs and football family in general, and ask God give to them strength as they come to terms with the death of their beloved sons.
