Trump’s Economic Success Justifies Re-Election, Mahama Lacks Comparable Record – Adomako Baafi

Former Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has made a bold statement, asserting that Donald Trump’s economic success warrants his re-election, while John Dramani Mahama, the former President of Ghana, lacks a comparable record.

According to Adomako Baafi, Trump’s economic achievements demonstrate his ability to steer the economy, In contrast, Mahama’s economic record during his tenure as President of Ghana from 2013 to 2017 has been criticized for its shortcomings.

Speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi Radio/TV, on 8th November, 2024, he was passionate about Mahama’s economic record during his tenure as President of Ghana from 2013 to 2017 does not measure up to Trump’s achievements, making him less deserving of re-election.

“One of the factors that won Donald Trump the election was the economy he built, His predecessors who are NDC canterparts couldn’t continue and messed up everything. His victory also justifies our statement on how the Covid has affected our economy and globally that between 2019-2020 the economy of the World is in deep cricies but Nana Addo’s approach had a possitive impact that rewarded the NPP a sounding victory in the 2020 elections”

“When Nana Addo was putting up measures to save lives and manage the economy from colapsing, Trump was blaming Chines for the cuase, that was what led to his deafit in 2020, if it were the economy Trump could not have lost the election in 2020, he couldn’t manage the Covid well as compared to Ghana”

He said, it’s essential to consider the complexities of Trump’s economic policies and the unique challenges he faced during his presidency, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

The former Communications Director of the NPP, Yaw Adomako Baafi emphasized that the NPP will win the 2024 election.
