As the day of election draw nigh, Daniel Teiko has offered free education to voters and specifically urged National Democratic Congress (NDC) voters to thumbprint their ballot 8 times before dropping it in the ballot box.
The seasoned communicator has offered free tuition to voters, who want to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former President John Dramani Mahama on 7th December, 2024.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Daniel Teiko advised electorates to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by simply looking out for his picture and placing a single thumbprint next to his picture.
“Make sure that when you visit the polls, you vote for number 1 and check to see if the NPP symbol is next to him. Sometime ago, we saw an EC operative who was deliberately destroying the number 1 candidate so if you don’t take care, your number 1 would not be NPP. So if you collect the sheet make sure you have the number 1 intact”.
How to vote for JM
But to vote for John Mahama, he says you need to thumbprint your ballot eight (8) times starting from the 1st on the ballot to the 8th position which aligns with the NDC flagbearer.
“If you have decided go against our advice and want to vote for John, then before you vote for him, thumbprint number 1, 2, 3 all the way to number 8 then you stop. I hope my message is clear? You will thumbprint the empty box from 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 don’t go pass the 8. You will have to do it like how you thumbprint votes during unit committee elections”.
