Those Saying Bawumia Shouldn’t Be Given A Second Chance Are Making A “Senseless” Call- Daasebre
Renowned radio broadcaster, Daasebre Agyei Dwamena has slammed those kicking against giving Dr. Bawumia a second chance to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2028 general elections.
He described their cry as “senseless” and noted that such thought could only come from empty heads.
“Which sense was in your head when you said that we shouldn’t give Bawumia a second chance?” Dasebre asked on Movement TV.
He observed that the NPP follows a tradition and if it favours Bawumia to lead, he would be elected again as flagbearer of the party.
Some supporters of Kennedy Agyapong have been making calls on the party to reject Dr. Bawumia and saying that he cannot be re-elected as the torch bearer for the party going into the 2028 general elections
A Deputy Director of Communications of the NPP, Ernest Owusu Bempah has argued that Dr Bawumia’s poor showing in the last general elections even in his home region, the Northern Region, makes him unfit to be the candidate again for the party.
But Daasebre rated the call as a ‘foolish’ and objected to it.
“We are not fools like you think. The electorate won’t fall for your lies like you managed to get away with the last time. When you talk, they will listen but won’t work with it”, he said.
